Borrowed Crime: A Bookmobile Cat Mystery - Laurie Cass

Ahhh, Minnie.  Where would I be without you and your fluffy cat to brighten my dull not-quite-winter-not-quite-spring?

The 3rd installment in the Bookmobile Cat series did not disappoint.  I enjoyed the plot, it had a lot of twists and turns to keep you guessing. The secondary and tertiary story lines meshed pretty well without being extraneous, and I enjoyed the Stephen story line.  I really did.

I confess I find it hard to keep the secondary characters straight, there's not much in the way of character development. I'd rather see the secondary characters in the previous books developed more before new ones were added.

A great addition to one of my favorite series and can't wait for the next one in December.

Seriously, Minnie, dump Tucker. He's a dud.  At least Ash likes cats and would appreciate your crime fighting obsession.  But probably not without one of those cliche "leave the investigating to the police, it's dangerous" speeches.

But seriously, the whole Tucker story line was just...half assed. Seemed like a flimsy way to handle a  will-they-or-won't-they-break-up story line.  Just have done with it, already. This better not be descending into a love triangle.  This series is way too good to mess it up with a distraction like that.
